They intended for it to draw the words "7 4 7"... I can kind of see it, but they didn't do as well as the Gulfstream G-V flight, in my opinion. Although the 747 crew DID fly much further and for a longer period of time.

Nope...they can if they're pursuing an ATP, but once you have an ATP, such time is useless.

The only time you can use XC that has the same TO and Landing is when you are counting the time toward the requirements for ATP.
