I was just sitting in the backyard and saw this two-engined jet in military markings with a front CANARD fly over on departure from Fort Worth Alliance.

The CATB (Cooperative Avionics Test Bed) aircraft on final approach for a landing at the Lockheed Martin Fort Worth Texas plant. The CATB is a modified Boeing 737-300 used to test the mission systems of the F-35 Lightning II. The external modifications include a sensor wing forward of the main wing, added structure on the top and at the bottom of the fuselage and a modified nose representing the F-35 nose
