414A Gear Up

That looks nothing like a Kitchen?:confused:

I wish I could land that well with working gear.

Well done. Seem like a lot of these happening these days.

I don't know if it's really any more than normal, or if it's just being reported more. I'd be curious to find out the cause of the failure. I think the 414A/421C were hydraulic gear.

Agreed Ted, it is always good to have that information back in the brain if it happens to you.

Saw a 310 at Muncie yesterday and thought of you.

Michelle is an incredible person. I understand she is a very experienced and skilled pilot.

The 414A does have a hydraulic gear with a nitrogen blowdown system. I don't know why the emergency didn't work. It looks like they did get the gear down to tow it back to the hangar. This looked like a nice airplane. It was sitting next to a Mirage I was working on about a month ago.
