4 generations of pilots

My 16 year old boy soloed today in the 172. My wife was scared, I think he is safer in the air than in the car. I soloed at 16 too, my father was my instructor. I don't think my grandfather taught my father but they both spent a lot of time in their OX-5 powered Beech Travelair biplane. We really pushed this training to the end, tomorow we are taking him off to boarding school in New York. I hope he wants to continue on with his rating.
