Good. When Chicagoans are smart enough to remove Daley from office and put Meigs back in its rightful place, they'll have earned privileges like the Olympics again.

Meigs is never coming back no matter what.

How would they possibly pay for all the infrastructure and improvements? You guys already have sales tax at 10%, plus all those rental car/visitor fees/tolls, etc.

Here is how the voting went down

Chicago was eliminated in the first round of the voting and Tokyo went out in the second round. For Chicago, it wasn't that close: The first-round vote totals showed Madrid with 28, Rio 26, Tokyo 22, and Chicago 18. In the second round, it was Rio 46, Madrid 29, and Tokyo 20, and in the last round, it was Rio 66 and Madrid 32.

I'd go with the Rio decision, the women there look great in there skimpy swim suits, just don't want to picture Oprah and Michelle posing in( ok throw in Barbara Striesand too) they're butt floss on a Chicago beachtrying to compete.
That thought picture gives me the willys
