The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
Working the Dallas salvage auctions, this little gem was spotted.

Too bad it's so wasted.... that's a $1400 engine I am out of stock of.

(and no, this one won't buff out)

Oh, that's right... Henning isn't here to offer two hundred and six replies about how he can do auto recycling better than anyone. And how he might have this car back to new condition in less than 24 hours with just a multi-tool and half a rattle can of Krylon paint.

Good Lord there must be pieces of people in some of these cars you take in mike.
That looks like a rough landing for sure

No chute. Haha.

Saw a Cirrus bumper sticker today and forgot to take a picture. "Chute Happens".

There are a few that have a label of "biohazard" stuck in them. And others where the rescue squad has removed the roof or a door.

Oh, soon we are going to have the Denton Fire Department out to the hard so there new guys can practice extractions on a real car. They get to use all the cool power toys to cut the roof and doors off. When the date gets set, I'll ping you so if the little 6PCs want to come watch, they are more than welcome.

"Good tires. Lousy brakes" he thought to himself as he lit up a cigarette and surveyed the scene...

There's a certain inevitability being expressed in that phrase.

There's nothing so wrong a little elbow grease and some good buffing compound won't cure.
Looks like it rolled a couple of times. Or maybe it was the SUV that drove off an overpass and landed wheels up on top of another car.

Speaking of that; today is Cliff Clavin's birthday!

Serious question: Who is going to buy that? And for what, just the recycling value of the metals?

Ah hell, stick that engine in a experimental and fly it right on up!
