2 year certificate what is it?

My instructor said something about a 2 year certificate for the plane ( something aircraft related ) he wasnt talking about a bi annual flight review. What could he be talking about? He didnt seem to have a clear answer thanks.

if you didn't fully understand his answer, you should question him, not us.

Could be the 24-month altimeter/static system certification, or the 24-month transponder certification, or the 3-year registration certificate expiration. But as Tom said, you need to get clarification from your instructor. If he can't provide a clear answer, then maybe you need a better instructor.
