For Sale:1974 Cessna 150-L

1974 150-L, 8168 TTSN, 1468 SMOH. OH was done in 2001 with mullenium cylinders, uses 1qt oil during 50 hr oil change.
Avionics: KLX135A GPS/Com, MX-300 digital flip-flop with VOR/GS, Cessna 300 ADF, King audio panel, and transponder w/mode C.
IFR certified till 11/05
Annual: currently being done.
Options:Child seat, skylights & wheel pants.
Interior is new, paint 8/10

He's selling that beauty. I've been drooling over it since spotting it in the Gastons Pics. Looks to me like a very nice first airplane, but alas I'm in no position to purchase right now....

What is the hp rating on this plane Dean?

Unless he did something to it during Overhaul, it is 100 Horse. The O-200s are 100 HP.

Brings back memories of how I trained in a 1968 C-150.
 
mine was a 1976 150M, (and not all that long ago).
I have very fond memories and plainly recall her great frugality and ease of operation. Went to Osh 2X in it.
 
I did the very same transition 12 years ago ... yer gonna like it a lot!

One bit of advise ...the 180 is going to be a bit nose heavy to what you are use to, particularly if you have two folks up front and nobody in the back. Make a habit of carrying a case of oil in the baggage area ... will make the landing flare a LOT easier.
