As much as it pains me to possibly lose the use of this airplane, my friend has asked me to help him sell his Luscombe. The reason is that he bought another basket-case Luscombe that has great potential and he needs the money to restore it. He also thinks that not having a flying airplane will motivate him to finish the restoration faster :rofl:

I don't have all the particulars right now on the hours but it is something over 3000 hours TTAF and about 1000 hours TSMOH on the A-65. Last annual was around May 2012 and he keeps it up well enough. He just replaced the aileron cables even though they passed annual.

You can see the airplane well in the Youtube walkaround below. Note that it has the 8C "Art Deco" dash which is a nice addition although the logs do not indicate why that is so.

He is asking $18,000. It qualifies as LSA. It is currently based at 04FA. He would also consider a partnership.

ps, the doors are the original "observer" doors. I was mistaken in the video.
