1945 Air Show

I'm old enough to remember when massed formations of fighters and bombers were a common sight flying up and down the Hudson River.
It's a shame they don't do more of that today.
 
I like the part where the C-47 picks up the glider tow. Must be quite a jolt or a REALLY stretchy line.
 
Interesting to see German helicopters in the ground display, had no idea that they had these in operation
 
Can watch the old videos all day,love the old airplanes.
