I have Cessna 182S and live in Northern MI.
Not interested in flying in storm but use it to get through layer for on top from November thro March
Anyone have experience up north using TKS

Flew into north Iowa for 3 years in 2 bonanzas that both had TKS..great system for what you describe...preflight it correctly , turn it on early and it will work well...let the sponges dry out and it will be far to late once the fluid starts coming out.
