Capital murder you can deal with. Any alcohol related offense however, you might want to retain Johnny Cochran as your FAA counsel. I think you will probably be okay. But you should probably still consult with an actual aviation attorney.

At risk of spoiling the fun, the OP got his driver's license suspended for driving without insurance some years back and was wondering if it was "going to affect his application to his airline's pilot program".
