I think it's all personal preference and mission demands. I use my Bose X in the helicopters, love 'em. We have one R22 with Lightspeed Twenty 3G's in it, and I don't like the fit, weight or feel of those headsets at all. We have David Clark headsets for the students and tours because they're...

I think as long as folks who post here keep their post/thread titles clear and descriptive, it shouldn't matter whether politics is discussed in POA's HT. If the topics get touchy, well, that's why they are paying you mods the big bucks ;)
But seriously, if a post of mine was...
Actually, if you are truly offended by the calender, go to your HR department - by law they are require to respond to your complaint. BTW, using this incident as "ammo" to defend some future behavior won't cover your butt, it will only make sure you don't go out alone...
I lived there from June - October 1997, teaching skiing at Turoa on the North Island. Lived in the "carrot capitol" of EnZed, Oakune (look for the giant carrot!) and traveled a bit throughout the area between Aukland and the north end of the South Island (only as far south as Motueka, just south...
Eeeaasy there, hoss. We have not raised our rates for about a year, and were doing fine until the price of fuel suddenly shot up over the course of six weeks. So April 1, we added a $4.00/hour fuel surcharge when we went through the last of our "cheap" bulk-buy. Our current load was way...
Badger Mountain Chardonnay :cheerio:
Moose Drool Ale, Fat Tire, Boddington's - strong preference for brown ale, and put me in a microbrew bar, watch out! There's a place in Vail called the Kaltenburg Castle...
Re: It's Gone (this thread has been mugged!)
I believe the term is thread creep. Also it's its, not it's.
Yeah, NOW this is starting to feel like the old Hangar Talk!
(BTW, Frank, I am just kidding with you)
We want love to last and we know that it does not last; even if, by some miracle, it were to last a whole lifetime, it would still be incomplete.
...all the time, Carol, all the time.
Speaking of which, it's 9:59 PM!
Ultralights of the world, unite!
We be talking Central time, and it's 11:11 PM ("Ours go up to eleven.")
SNOWING? Where? And what is this guy doing ---> it looks more like indigestion!
Logging PIC
61.51(e)(1)
Fairly cut and dried. We have the same issue with people transitioning into Robinson helicopters. Per SFAR73, you can't act as PIC until you have 10 hours of training and an endorsement, but you can log PIC as long as you currently hold a rotorcraft-helicopter rating...
THIS HAS BEEN A TEST OF THE EMERGENCY MODERATOR SYSTEM. HAD THIS BEEN AN ACTUAL EMERGENCY, THIS THREAD WOULD NO LONGER EXIST.
Luckily, we'uns here at POA can tell the difference between abuse and humor! So Mark gets the beer, I think!
By the way, it's 6:05 PM.
