Helping out one of our local flight schools find a/c for leaseback. Anyone with experience finding good a/c? Mods, move this if its the wrong section. They are paying for mx and min $1600 a month for a fuel injected 172 + additional money for anything over 40 hours a month.

I was in a club for a few years with 3 planes, 120 members (70 or so active), and rarely had scheduling issues. If you flew 7-10 hrs you usually made the top 3 for the month. Sw Florida.

Get time with a cfii in actual minimums and don't let them help with radios, etc. Make sure you have a good alternate with much better weather if your destination is close to minimums. Carry extra fueL too.

I think our rental Sp I instruct in holds about 520lb with full fuel. Not sure how much g1000 adds.

Anyone know if north- n40 is full? Curious... trying to figure out a way in for vintage or gac camping.

Anyone have more info on saturation of camping areas at Osh? Made it 30 mi from Ripon and atis said all camping full and fisk was clarifying that with people calling in...

I have about 75 hrs in each and they are pretty similar. The c has a carb, e is fuel injected and runs smoother. Full throttle and 2400 rpms, 6k feet the c was around 135kts and the e is 150kts. If you're really concerned with cruise speeds fly the actual plane first. The older C models...

If LLWS isn't in the forecast the turbulence airment is almost a joke. Sounds like he's been pushing buttons for too long and is grumpy that you're out having all the fun.

Really, we never heard of any issues with the spars. We started a second kit too, I'll check that out. Wait till you see the AD list that you need to go through. Take a look at it before you install avionics. There is a wiring AD that applies to a Fuse not being wired properly to the elt...

A good breakfast at the hilton beats most of the food inside the show. Only worth it if you are already in the n40.

Ive crossed the adiz a few times vfr. If you're on flight following they dont mind. Flown direct naples-keyw. If you call ahead they will leave scooters for you at the airport. The best way to get around key west until you're too drunk to operate it!
