Best seat covers for a PA-28?

Looking for an easy pull-over set of seat covers for my 1975 Archer. Any recommendations that don't require removal of the existing upholstery?

    When was your first scare?

I had quite a similar experience in a 172P in 2008. Terrible panel vibration, idle power only, glided to Vicksburg (VKS), limped to the FBO, and walked to a gas station to buy a 6-pack of Budweiser tall boys. Was late for dinner that night. Engine got a top-end overhaul.

    AOPA Renewal??

Exactly. Until someone on here wants to start a new and better organization that becomes a household name in support of GA, I'll continue to support them.

    Selling an airplane

Coming back to your original question...I sold a 1981 C172P earlier this year. It sold for full asking price, which was $ 60K. I believe that the cream puffs will continue to have a market following. The dogs and shady deals will be a harder sell. Since I sold it myself, there were no fees. A...

    What's the best ATV?

My experience has been with Suzuki, Yamaha, Polaris, and Honda. Hondas have been my favorite and the most reliable by far.

Anyone flown out of Key West/EYW?

Thanks, guys. Really appreciate the help.

Anyone flown out of Key West/EYW?

Thanks, that is who I spoke to earlier today. Looks like you pretty much have to make an immediate turn to the northwest or southwest when departing VFR on Rwy 9 to aviod the NAS? Even radial 082 is unuseable from what I saw on the enroute low chart; it shoots right over the NAS. This is...

Anyone flown out of Key West/EYW?

I am down there on vacation in a couple of weeks and am thinking about renting a 172 to do some sightseeing with the wife. There is a little flying service that rents the S models on the field. Has anyone here flown out of KEYW? Any cool areas to go or recommendations?

What to invest in over the next 30 years?

I invest a fair amount in 401K and stocks. Returns have been marginal over the last few months, which is no surprise given the current state of the global economy. After the meltdown of 2008, I really wonder how safe this stuff is when you realize that it can vaporize in a day. Makes you...

    Cessna 205

Thanks, Henning. This one has the IO-470. The 205 is really attractive to me because of the 6 seats and what appears to be a fairly simple airplane. I don't need any screaming performance, just a good load hauler to carry the family. Seems to be a 182, just bigger, and I like flying the...

    Cessna 205

Looking at another 205. Will these engines run on unleaded gasoline/mogas or are they too high of compression?

Completing flight training in Denver, CO

I fly at Aspen Flying Club, and really enjoy it. Lots of airplanes and something is always available. You can still fly older planes if you are on a budget, but there are some very nice newer airplanes as well.

Colorado: Anyone ever heard of 'em?

Never heard of 'em. Looks cool though.
