Best Info on COVID-19 I have seen. Please read

"All forums within this category are Aviation Only forums. Topics posted here not dealing with Aviation in some way will be moved or deleted." What does this have to do with aviation? And how does telling us to read a link that goes to a video help in any way?

Anyone been to Death Valley/Furnace Creek lately?

I'd go by the AOPA report linked above. It's from the future.

Lax jet dumps fuel on school.

If the plane was at MTOW, what would the SE go-around performance be like?

    Stadium TFRs?

Nope, not 90 minutes... 60 minutes. "THIS FLIGHT PROHIBITION IS IN EFFECT ONE HOUR BEFORE THE SCHEDULED START UNTIL ONE HOUR AFTER THE END OF A QUALIFYING EVENT."

Any Gopro tricks to increase dynamic range?

ProTune, as mentioned above, is the answer. With ProTune enabled, set color to "Flat" instead of "GoPro Color". This records in a wider dynamic range gamut, and will give you greater shadow/highlight details. You'll have to punch the video in post, apply a LUT, or give it a one-light color...

    Landing on the Andes

I was present for the H145D3 Aconcagua landing. I was part of the film crew on the B3 used for filming the landing. It was a hell of an accomplishment, and also a logistical challenge to get the filming B3 up that high with an external camera system installed. We delayed the attempt for a few...

Do they teach correct patterns any more?

Review AIM 3-2-5, regarding Class D: e. Separation for VFR Aircraft. No separation services are provided to VFR aircraft. Sure, Tower will sequence aircraft and attempt to deconflict landing traffic, but their job is not to provide separation. Don't get complacent.

    Entering class C airspace

That's how it's done every single day in NYC. Transition right from Class E/G into Surface B by calling tower. If you want to enter the B at a higher altitude above a shelf, you're usually kicked to approach.

    Volunteer Private Pilot

You would also hold an Instrument Rating, Type Rating, a Multi, and a slew of others, and it would be a multi-crew situation. While possible, it would be hard to stay as just a Private Pilot.

    Heli crash NYC

He wasn’t in Class G, he was venturing between Class E in the SFRA and Class B.

    Heli crash NYC

Yes, not too different from the Vauxhall incident.

    Heli crash NYC

Nothing wrong with that kind of equipment in that kind of airspace without an IR, just not in that kind of weather.

    Heli crash NYC

We frequently get waivers to operate within the Trump Tower TFR, but this flight had no such waiver in place.

    Question about Hudson SFRA TFR

Yes, there's a gap. LGA won't clear you through either TFR, but you can scoot between them.

GoPro Hero7 intercom audio recording only one-sided?

Can you just change your output audio to be Mono, or duplicate the left channel onto the right? The audio content is likely the same on the L-R channels of the intercom unless you've got one of the fancy audio panels that can simulate different source locations for different radios.
