Great idea!

Sounds fun and I already know what you look like. I'd like to try and come out that way if the extended family doesn't decide to do something for Father's Day in St. Louis. I also have a Cherokee that tends to get remembered in a crowd. :D

I've found that it depends a lot on the weather as to how crowded the North 40 is on the weekend before the show opens, Jeff... I usually start stalking the GA parking hotline number to see how the trends are going before I decide if I have a chance getting in there or if I need to leave on...

I'd like to make a request for June 22nd rather than the 15th... I will have a much better chance of making it that Saturday.

I've had one close encounter in my Archer with a small mylar party balloon about 10 years ago at low altitude under the St. Louis Bravo that came so close that I could tell it was a multi-colored butterfly with several trailing strings of ribbon attached to it. :eek:

Done deal! :yes: It's my natural week off prior to the seminar weekend, so I'm planning on heading over to my favorite of all places in Ohio and making a week-long combination vacation out of it. :D

I was there Tuesday through Thursday and it was HOT by airshow time. But it was nice to sit out in the GAP and drink ice cold bottles of Gatorade and water from the S 'n F folks and relax under the wing, even if the airplane is a Piper. :rolleyes: It's a great place to watch all the action and...
