    Zulu.2 versus Sierra

I have the Sierra. While it is certainly nice it feels bulkier and heavier on my head than the Zulu. I like them more than my David clamps but regret not getting the Zulu. The head strap style is also kind of odd you only have certain notches of adjustability. So yes, still a great headset but...

    Yet Another Raffle - 172 for $50

I purchased a ticket for this raffle a few months ago. They just sent a letter in the mail saying they need to sell more tickets. They have sold 669 and need 1,200 to break even, maximum 2,500. Figured I would post it here to spread the word. I am not affiliated in any way. Raffle date is...

    Nationwide flying club

My club here in NJ has about 70 members for 4 planes(3x172 1x182). Things get tight when one plane goes down for maintenance but I wouldn't say the ratio is terrible.

    FBOs in Northern NJ

Also MMU has the ridiculous TSA badge requirement. So you must wear the lanyard at all times and park your car on the ramp. Which makes meeting friends and other there a hassle.

    FBOs in Northern NJ

Check out RGI Aviation over at CDW. They are a small school, currently in between offices, but reasonable rates and planes are well maintained. There is also 150th Aero flying club at MMU that is affordable but there is a waiting list for membership and weekend availability means booking far in...

    Aviation Related Blackberry Apps

Right now I use AOPA Airports. It is free with membership. It is a bit odd in terms of UI (not that I can do any better) but it definitely gets the job done. It has almost all of the info usually found in the paper directory. I also have an E6B by WXSYS, it is free. Haven't used it much though.
