That's exactly what I was thinking too SoonerAviator. I spoke to the Repair Facility about bringing in an airbrush artist to utilize their facility but was hoping for a one stop shop. We'll see what shakes out.

    Custom Paint Shop - Airbrush

Anybody know of an aircraft airbrush paint shop in the US? I have a Malibu that was involved in a nose gear collapse. The new cowling will need to be painted to match the flames on the rest of the airframe. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. The original paint job was performed in Turkey.

Any other Home Brewers out there?

All Grain brewing is absolutely the best way to go in terms of control, quality, and creativity. It adds a little more time onto the brew day but the net result is worth the extra effort. I've been brewing now for 21 years and love beer! along with flying of course.

    Lets talk Thunderstorms

Take your time, always have a plan B (back door retreat), and be patient when you are not comfortable. Thunderstorms are no joke but they are also extremely manageable for the most part, you just need to build the knowledge and then experience to know when to wait, dodge, or go to the bar. At...

    I'm a Lear Jet Captain!!

I once heard a Lear or Citation (can't remember) chastising a 172 for making him go-around due to a bad radio call. This guy wouldn't let up and started throwing out comments such as "stupid weekend warriors". I finally chimed in and said "If you can't handle landing at an uncontrolled field...

Ferried a King Air 200 UK to USA

Thanks Bill! I have my fair share of hanging my rear end over the N Atlantic in Warriors & 172s...so, this was a nice way to start out our new company. We have a few more quotes in the works. All of them are extremely nice and capable airplanes. I'll post photos and spot tracker info once we...

    Plane Xtreme

We deliver what the customer buys...if it were up to us every customer would buy a turbine powered rocket ship but the reality of it is that even flight schools need their airplanes. These planes are bare bones warriors for flight training.

The production company informed us that the Weather Channel would make their determination if the show would continue by the end of December...we still haven't heard anything. I wish they would've given us a go by now...Me and the rest of the ferry crew are currently stuck in KBGR due to...

    Plane Xtreme

Man, episode 4 was killer! I just wish they captured a little more the fatigue mixed in with some of the other factors but I guess it once again boils down to 50 hours of flying experienced in 22 min...also, I'm sure there might be some curiosity why a faulty fuel guage caused that much drama...

    Plane Xtreme

After thinking about this for awhile, I did remember one trip that got me going as far as a ground based threat. I was flying a (dark grey) aircraft to Jordan in the Middle East. My route was over Cyprus, Lebannon, and then a sharp right turn once inland over syria towards Amman. While flying...
