No one's mentioned the potential liability Jay faces if these guys had a drunk driving accident (only one example of many). Sure he has insurance, but will it pay out? At least if they were paying customers he'd have more information on them - perhaps have seen ID or gotten a credit card...

Let me be the third vote on "Fate Is The Hunter". That would be #1 on my list. This is a must-read for any pilot. It forces you to think about the realities of flying.

I worked for a company that did this and the return on their investment in the auditor definitely paid off. I was surprised at the number of ineligible dependents they found.

No problem with Amazon. Paypal also does the one-time use numbers, and it has a plug-in for your browser. It's pretty easy to use.
