    how reliable are Lycoming motors?

I own 172P ‘84. I also instructed in nearly every 172 model from B to S) . I have overhauled my O360 twice already. I haven’t seen much going pass TBO. I have a feeling for the money I have spent for both overhauls I could have just bought new engine ! Lol I’ve seen tons of neglected O360...

    how reliable are Lycoming motors?

I believe it arbitrary only for part 91. Condition also depended on personal knowledge ! Some may wait until engine throw rod - other till lab shows some metal in oil . It not surprised though that cheapest airplane one can buy is typically with engine at or past TBO.

Flight training - Zero to Hero

I had a bad experience with puppy mill factories like ATP Whether it’s a fresh private or a new CFI it does t seem matter. As soon as they jump in local club airplanes tear and wear and accidents goes up significantly.

Any good landing tips while on final?

Stay on centerline at all times .Timely round up, hold it, hold it. It’s ok if cowling covers forward visibility look to the left side...

    MSFS2020 Disappointment thread

You can do the same in MSFS. You can select departure and destination, SID/STARS/ approach and ATC will follow exactly as planned. In fact, MSFS ATC came directly from FSX legacy code and highly have been criticized as one aspect of the game that has not been rewritten or improved since FSX ...

    MSFS2020 Disappointment thread

I have MSFS since early beta, and I love it . Folks who complain about sensitivity or flight model usually fall short of computer technical knowledge on how to adjust sensitivity their flying stick or properly configure a hardware. I personally use honeycomb bravo throttles and thrust master...
