My first foray into owning began yesterday. Picked up an EAA biplane in Indiana, flew it to see some family also in the state. I'll head home on Monday, probably take 2 days, going across I-80 to western Iowa then down to KC. Trying to stay on grass runways with legs of about 100 miles.

I'm looking at a specific model of airplane (Stinson 10A) and seem to be finding a significantly higher number of projects than I am finding airworthy airplanes. My question lies in this area. What would one expect to pay to take a project plane to get it built? An outrageous amount or something...
