    Turbo vs non-turbo Piper Arrow

    Having flown both the Arrow 3 and Turbo Arrow 4, I would opt for the N/A Arrow 3. Its a better performer if you are not operating in the mountains/hot&high. The Turbo Arrow 4 I now fly is a dog! I cannot get more than 300 fpm no matter what airspeed I try.

    C-172 N (?) circa mid-70s... the POH expressly states slips with 30 degrees flaps is prohibited. I don't have it in front of me, but I think it can be found in the EMERGENCY section.

    I would love to go, but that is our St Patrick's Day Parade (Dublin OH). Our local veterans groups lead the parade and I am providing transport for one of the disabled vets that day. Last I heard, the B-25 went to North or South Dakota last week. Maybe it will be back for you to see.

    The handheld rubberduckie antenna is going to be polarized to whatever angle you hold it. Nav signals are horizontally polarized. Comm signals are vertically polarized.

    I have seen many brush fires from the air while flying in the Deep South. Saw my own house burning 13 years ago. Fire is not a recommended way to remodel.
