    Deck weight

Unfortunately no. The decking is probably good. The joists depend on the size, spacing, span and lumber type. The girders depend on the size, span, lumber type and the tributary area they support. The posts are probably good. The piers depend on the girder reactions and the allowable soil...

    How much snow....

Figure a density of about 15pcf (if it is really cold it could be less). The highest I have ever measured was 23pcf and that was after rain on snow. There have been higher densities measured but that only happens with a very deep and old snow pack. The bottom layers transform to ice over time

    How much snow....

Nope, I agree. In big winters people would call me and ask if they had too much snow on their roof. My answer was always the same: it is a lot cheaper to hire a contractor to shovel your roof than it is to hire me to analyze it.

    Contractors, assemble!

TJI’s are good products. If there is movement or sagging it is most likely either they are not supported properly or the supporting members have moved. I guess it could also be that something is up with the cabinet or subfloor. I know you put a level on the floor but it appears that the angle...

    Contractors, assemble!

I saw something similar once. An interior pier footing supporting a floor girder post settled, causing the joists to sag. The pier had been cast on uncompacted fill.

How NOT to tie down your aircraft

High winds at North Las Vegas. The “S” hook on the chain straightened out, I guess he didn’t know to use the hook. I’m glad my plane was two spots away.

Low time pilot insuring a retract?

When I bought my 210 I had about 500 hrs, instrument, 0 retract. No problem getting insurance but I thought it was high. They told me that it would come down with time, but it only went up. :(
