    Pronouncing Names at Gastons

Well the pronunciation of Missouri depends on what part of the state you are in. The eastern part seems to use the 'Mis ur ah' and the western part seems to use the 'Mis ur ee'. Life long resident of the state. It has always been that way.

[NA] Kirby Vacuums - Looking for experiences

Chuck The experience I have had with the Kirby vacum is that they are very good and they last a long time. Should for the cost. You can always get them fixed. My wife has allergies so we put in a built-in vacum in the house or we would probably have one. They work better because they have...

Lex Cralley keeps his Corsair. Good guys win one!

    Fuel surcharge

I know everyone does not like fuel surcharges. The airport that I work at part time instituted a fuel charge about a month ago. The owner did not want to do it but the cost of av gas is starting to do the same thing as the price od car gas at the pumps. It is not a steady price anymore. The bad...

    This week's approach

Gee Bill that one looks like you are flying through a forrest with all of those towers in the area. This id definitly one where the altitude issue is top of the list. I know in my case the height restrictions on the missed would be fudged to the plus side no matter what. It reminds me of the...

So why can’t I seem to fly with my prescription glasses?

What you have described sounds like when I first got glasses in the third grade. They may have put a prism in the lens to compensate for the astigmatism. It takes several days to get past the flat surfaces looking curved. I only need glasses first for a weak eye muscle and then became...
