    Heat stress is still the highest wear factor in air cooled engines. With the engine at low power settings, you aren't able to cause nearly as much thermal damage as you can at higher power settings. Don't worry about starting and taxiing wear on the engine if you can do it at less than 50% power...

    I'm buying a Cessna 210A, it is having the annual inspection completed in Benson, AZ. I need it flown to Dubuque, IA in a few weeks to a month. That's E95 to KDBQ, quite the time building at my expense due to relative distance. Let me know if you are interested and what your flying costs...
