    Not Receiving ADS-B radar

Garmin pilot won't automatically switch either. I have requested several times that they implement this but I believe those requests have gone into the circular file. Well, at least they finally fixed the Bluetooth connectivity issue.

Do you fly just to get cheaper fuel? Unleaded avgas?

Fuel at my home field is usually about 0.60 more than the nearby surrounding fields. It doesn't make sense to fly to one of them just to save a few bucks. But if I am flying over one of those fields and need gas, I will stop there to top it off.

    Best Phillips bits

Stihl has gone all in on Torx T27 on all their equipment. As usual, B&S is still trying to figure it out. Briggs still has a combination of T25, metric and SAE. Lots of fun to work on.

    Best Phillips bits

The #2 JIS is by far the most useful for me and they last a long time. For that reason I stay away from the sets. They can also be found on the "jungle" site from time to time but McMaster's price is pretty good.

    Garmin Voice control

I have it in my plane and it's great. There are quite a few useful commands but tuning the radio is what I use it for most of the time.

    GNS 530 and VOR ID

It is way more likely that it is pulled from the database but @Rgbeard suggested a good way to determine what it is doing.

Filing a Complaint With Local FSDO?

Most folks here are telling you that calling in the FSDO is not a good idea. Calling them in will do nothing to solve your issue. Calling them in won't correct the A&P. Calling them in could very well have negative repercussions for you. Yet after 7 pages of arguments and name calling this is no...

Filing a Complaint With Local FSDO?

He can do the guy the required amount of damage by spreading the word among the local pilot crowd. No need to bring the government into it given how weak his case is and the likely consequences for him.

Filing a Complaint With Local FSDO?

Do not bring the government into your life, they will screw you. I can't make it plainer than that. Don't do it!
