I’ve been trying to get my performance profiles more accurate for flight planning purposes on ForeFlight. I fly primarily in Michigan so elevation sits around 1000’ typically. Does anyone have any performance profiles they would mind sharing??

I’m currently 18 and I (as of today) have started instrument training. I got to experience real IMC and couldn’t be more excited to get this rating. Just as a general conversation…does anyone have any tips that could benefit me as I go along?

When it comes to flying with a constant speed propellor in a traffic pattern, do you look at rpm or manifold pressure when making power changes. Do you use both when flying in the pattern?

I got my PPL about 5 months ago and I’m starting to look at doing trips to locations to spend the day at. I am currently 18. From what I’ve heard before, you can’t rent a car if you aren’t 21. What about courtesy cars?

I’ve been wanting to fly around the city of Detroit at night (vfr). Is it fairly easy to get the clearance to do this even inside of the bravo? How do you go about doing this when it comes to radio calls and such?
