Logging requirements for taking a CFI checkride?

A matter of nomenclature. Yes it is a certificate but like an instrument ticket only valid attached to an actual pilot certificate. Ground instructor is separate and by itself in comparison.

Logging requirements for taking a CFI checkride?

This is not required. Only for private and commercial. CFI is an added rating like instrument tacked onto a commercial or ATP license. Of course it doesn't hurt to have those 3 hrs so any DPE won't be asking questions.

DWI: Refused to test, need help for reporting

Personally I would say yes no buts or ifs. You can even read the AOPA articles on the subject. The main issue is that if you try to hide it and later they find out which they will as they have access to driving records, the penalties are a different ballgame. You will also now be subjected to...

    Today’s stock splits - AAPL & TSLA

Stock splits are so shareholders can vote. Most stockbrokers will not let you voice your opinion in shareholders meetings if you have just a fraction of a share. Harder to get a full share at 2.5 k than at 400-600 bucks. And yes the irrational rise on a split has all to do with the perception of...

Your money is precious and a good CFI would not waste it. Your CFI is the...

Get A&P license to maintain own Airplane

It is light sport repairman. Most A&P are so ignorant of this incredible and safer class of airplanes, some of them packing avionics not from the 1960s if you can believe that, that they sign up 337's and do "annuals" only to find out about the ASTM rules. I have been in several LSAs and...

Get A&P license to maintain own Airplane

For me I am an LSRM-A which never expires or gets stale so if I become an A&P through a "shall issue" FSDO after 18 months for a single rating of waiting (even doing nothing) or 30 months I can always do some work as an LSRM to reinstate my currency as an A&P. The biggest issue is the endless...
