Sort of related... I parked next to Cub Crafters last Friday. Their Cubs were all over the ramp. Lots of planes for such a small facility. This is just one side.

If that is a check valve it is designed to vent out. If you blew in it very well could have blown the lines off. Thus not related to your power loss.

Just remember you are the only Profesional on the plane. Everybody else is there for fun. It puts the pilot into a bit of an unwanted babysitter position. Not good. It's your ratings and career on the line not theirs. I watched a jump pilot quit because of that once. Good for him...

I was gifted a friends father in law's log book. It has flights from NAS Pensacola in 1945. SNJ4, PBY-5-B a CNT (?) and a couple other planes are in it. His other log books are still with the Lexington at the bottom of the Coral Sea :) It is a cool piece of history.
