All the DPEs when I did my license were “able” to do it according to the FAA website, but from what I know none of them were willing. So they had to fly down a DPE from a neighboring state that was able and willing.

I’m curious if something with inline thrust will require a multi license. I know now that that Cessna airplane does require but maybe things will change in that regard.

I owned a Sonex and regularly got it up to 150mph (at altitude) with a Jabiru 3300. My fastest ground speed was 208mph.
