Let me echo 2 great suggestions: Family atmosphere great GA airport further away from Boston go to Minuteman (6B6). Going to the city and not be ate up by fees or consumed by bizjets go to Beverly (BVY).

I actually prefer the seating position to a Cessna as think most other similar aircraft ride like a truck. I like to recline and extend my legs which the Mooney offers. Zooooooom.

Fuel is a non-issue in that area. MQI is right across the bay (<6 miles) and has food, fuel and is highly regarded. There are cheaper options available, however, MQI is a good one stop for your needs.

All very good recommendations. You might want to add Tangier Island (TGI), Billy Mitchell (HSE), Orcacoke (W95). Arcadia (X06) in FL is highly spoken of but I've never been there.
