Tanis or Reiff ? Which is better?

Reiff. The Reiff heat soaks all components better. The heat from the band radiates out to the cylinder heads and internally in the case, main bearings and crank. The oil pad that comes with the kit heats the oil. Get the oil cooler heat pad option and that will heat the cooler. If you cover...

    Moving to Michigan

I live in SW Michigan and love the state of Michigan, well most of it anyway. Lived in many parts of the country and grew up in Alaska. The winters here are not bad at all. Summer and fall are incredible! Spring is good too. Lots of things to do here. I have not found the mosquito’s to be...

Highwings outperform even when when parked.

Hey guy’s, one thing to keep in mind is a flat tire and something parked under the wing. A buddy had a flat tire on his Husky and when walked into the hangar the wing tip was pretty darn close to the ground. Had there been something under that wing it would have been bad. He did have over...

Remedy Unauthorized Maintenance and Repairs on Certified Aircraft?

I bought an airplane years ago that hadn’t had an annual in 5 or 6 years. The owner wasn't too concerned with “paperwork” and legality, a “bootleg” kinda guy. All preventive maintenance was done and documented in the logs, just no annuals. The airplane was pristine and went thru pre buy...

    STOL

I think Stewart’s airplane is AWESOME! More room inside than a Helio or not, its an awesome airplane. No gearbox, no wing issues, you can actually move the tail around by hand, and so on. Besides, the color on Stewarts airplane is once again, there is that word again, awesome. Well done...

I love the videos showing super short take off’s and landings. Never mind the wind howling over the camera mic. What you never see is a windsock or any other wind indicator in the fram.

6 place single engine piston fixed gear

Add a hundred grand to your budget and you will get an “ok” airplane, not a cream puff but pretty good airplane. The market is hot, 50k wont come close to a “6”, hard to find a good 172 for that kind of money. Kurt

No wasn't interested in where to find the information, I already know how to do that. I was wondering about you and thought it would be best to go straight to the source and ask you directly.
