You can see the anguish from the first guy that got out. He wasn't just upset about the crash, he lost a buddy.

The police were probably responding like any other accident and not wanting to move the pilot/patient until medical arrived. Then the train came and changed all that in a hurry. They pulled the guy out through the missing windshield, so they were probably getting the plane ready for extraction...

Wouldn't that have made it even harder to see due to lack of relative motion?

The pilot was a passenger at the point of the crash. Unfortunately, the only thing he managed, was losing control of the airplane.

I'm looking for a 175B CS prop equipped owner that could share performance tables. I have a 175A with a 180HP conversion, but the STC did not come with performance tables. I believe Cessna equipped the B models with a CS prop and the 175HP geared engine, so I think performance would be similar.
