World's top speed on 500 km closed loop was set by standard E266 (first version with prototypes of R-15BD 300 engines...- Brambo1984

I didn’t know this about the MiG-29
Just fyi: Mig-25 has reached over 37 000 m altitude and avg. speed over 2 970 km/h on 500 km circuit. Both records are still valid for jet aircraft under its own power ... Those records were set with serial hound fighter in 1970s ...- Brambo1984
