Not quite sure what you're asking, but one ground school is for private pilot (ASEL) and the other is instrument (IRA). While I am a CFI/II, I'm not actually the one teaching the courses... it's just being offered for free at my flight school.

It's actually online via Zoom (should have added that). The last time our school did it there were pilots from all over the world "attending" online.

I learned in a low wing and just started flying a 172. Personally I prefer the low wing because I like to be able to see into my turns (especially in the pattern). Just a personal preference.

The glass panel 2 seater rents out for $140/hr wet which is pretty good for Southern California.

Strange question, but does anybody get a numb finger tip from pressing the push-to-talk button on the 172 yoke? I can't think of any other reason why the very tip of my finger has no feeling after flying.
