I have flown into M01 from the south IFR a couple times and each time it has been a non issue. Approach usually vectors you on the west side of town and then direct. Memphis controllers are some of the best and very easy going.

Even on a busy day when the line at Lamberts is out the door, pilots get preferred treatment. Usually get brought in a separate door and get 1st available seat.
