    Inverted flat spin POV

Gee, I was excited because I just did my first inverted stall a few weeks ago. That felt pretty weird, but this does look dizzying.

    Trip to Marathon Key

If you want really good food go to Annette's. It is about 2-3 miles south of the airport as I recall, on the Gulf side. Very good food. Someone in your party needs to get a stone grilled dish. They heat up a stone to 800 degrees and you sear/cook your own right there. They will also...

    STOL twins

I have flown this plane. Gets up & down very well. VERY heavy on the roll forces. Has mud scrapers on the mains, so that tell's you it's intent. Here is a video. http://www.angel44.com/Stream.html

    Key West; or not?

Just stay on the Atlantic side (east & south side) of the islands and you are safe. The islands are one after the other. No chance of getting lost in VFR. Fly OVER the Bravo (8000' IIRC) Landing anywhere in the Keys can be tricky though. There is only one runway, and the winds are almost...

Apple is "amazing, incredible, great, easy"

This is fun to watch......:loco: Now let's move it into a low wing vs high wing arguement and I bet we can get another 5 pages out of it. (I would have said LOP vs ROP, but now that Conti & Lycoming have both admitted they have been wrong all along.....anyone on the ROP side of the...

I love when this stuff works...

What was your AGL? (Edit: I looked up the plate and it says 529 elev) I have broken out at 900' but I was still 870' AGL so not nearly so rewarding as yours was at a lower AGL.

Cessna Jet lands down wind, overshoots into water video

A Cessna Jet lands down wind, overshoots into water, everyone gets off okay, but then one engine powers up and turns the jet into a boat for a while. Pretty incredible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlreuXRW95g&feature=related

Authorities force pilot to make emergency landing

Here is the sectional, no where near the ADIZ, but there is the "Monitor Radio Freq." notice. Since NORDO is legal, and you are not in airspace which requires it D C B A etc.... I wonder if that monitor notice means you MUST have and USE it?

Palm Bay, Fl Police Aviation Unit

Spell checkers don't catch everything that a good editor should... So the policeman makes his approach, pulls his service revoler, but unlike Barney Fife who only had one bullet, he has two!:yikes:

    hummelbird

Holy smokes, did you see how long it took that guy to get folded into the cockpit? This looks like the same plane and runway, but crashes this time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yrw2-VvekqU&feature=related

    CFI is PIC ALWAYS

I remember one case where there were 3 pilots on board. The CFI was in the back seat asleep. Pilots 1 & 2 were in the left & right seats. The CFI was held responsible for the other 2 violating airspace.

How to fly in and out of this airport

Okay guys.....KLNA is my home drome. You DO NOT have to contact PBI at any time unless you want to, or need to transit their airspace. We typically announce on CTAF our intentions and departure routes, and fly out at 1000', which is below the 1200' shelf of PBI. Occasionally, we will fly...
