    Was My Class III Denied?

Not a medical expert, but I note that you were "deferred", which is not on that list that they want reported.

brainstorming request: how to support a wire fence

Put eyebolts on each side of the opening, then run a cable across with a turnbuckle to tighten it. Then clip the top of the fencing to the eyebolts.

    More on noise at GAI

I got my PPL at KGAI back in the early 90s. As I recall, the FBO only had about a half-dozen trainers at that time. Looks like it's 4 or 5 x that now. That's a lot more traffic.

    GTR 200 Help Needed

That's trickier. Requires a Windows install in a VM, probably. Probably easier to find a friend with a Windows PC you could use.

SD cards are usually formatted MS-DOS/FAT. Disk Utility can do that.

As of 6/3/21, current used small aircraft market.

I'm building an RV-12iS now. I'm looking at larger, faster planes for my next project, high-wing preferred. Sportsman was on my list. I hope they make a comeback.

Thinking About Replacing the Jeep Grand Cherokee

Mine drives just like the similar X3 model, it's just the shape of the sheet metal in the back that's different. My daily driver was a 2014 Grand Cherokee before it, which I still own. I wanted to try something a little smaller this time. The X5 would be more like the GC. I might go to the...

Thinking About Replacing the Jeep Grand Cherokee

If you're considering the Q5 or Q7, you should also consider the BMW X3 or X5. And you could pick it up in South Carolina at the factory and do the track there. It's a lot of fun. I have an X4M40i, which is the SAV version of the X3.

    Asset-Based Lenders

Equities are easy. Put them in a margin brokerage account and write a check on the account. How big a check will depend on the value and type of equities, but generally about 50% of the value is available.

I was also considering getting BasicMed instead, and just skipping all this.

Lapsed SI a problem for new exam?

So get the exam, wait for OKC to request additional information, send it to them, then get the SI? That's what happened last time.

Lapsed SI a problem for new exam?

Got my last Third class exam two years ago (4/15/19). Had to get an SI due to a couple minor conditions. Cert says not valid after 4/3/2020, and I had instructions on what to submit for renewal. Well, Covid happened and I wasn't going to be flying anyway, so I didn't see my regular doctor to...

    How long for followup response?

Timeline: AME Class 3 exam mid-April. Expected I would need an SI, but AME issued medical anyway. Got letter from OKC within a couple weeks. Wanted more info on a number of reported issues. Responded to letter in early July. Took a while to get some really old info. Nothing from OKC since...
