Thanks Skip. The vacuum instruments and the vsi are not required for day vfr as per FAR 91.205, but are in the MEL. If I can legally remove them, I would keep them, to reinstall in case of a future sale.

15-20lbs weight reduction. I only fly day vfr, so I have no need for these instruments.
