    Complex Endorsement

At this point, I would be happy to fly a Piper Tomahawk again, lol. An Arrow or 172 would be even better.

    Working as A&P again.

Hi all. Just wanted to drop a note and let everyone know that I am now working an aviation job again. It is starting out as a part time job but should work into full time. I am getting to get my hands greasy once again as an A&P Mechanic. Star Aero is the place I am working, located on GLY at...

    Lincoln MO fly in

We did not get there until after 2:00. The boys had a football game in Cole Camp. We stopped on the way back. It was a blast and the smile on Eric's face was priceless. There is going to be another Young Eagle's Rally at GLY on the 26th, no fly-in but Young Eagle flights.

    Lincoln MO fly in

We drove to the Lincoln fly-in. My two older kids went on the Young Eagle's flight. Eric was excited and had me help him with the log book he received from the flight. He has decided he wants to learn to fly.:cheerswine: I now have to get back into my flying again so he has a flying buddy...

    Any hunters around?

Sadly, I will be unable to afford the hunting licenses this year. I was looking forward to being out in the woods packing my bow again this year. Sigh. Good luck to all of you who do get out this year. Let me know how it went.

    Diana had surgery today

It was not a rotator cuff but a torn muscle in the rotator cuff area. Some arthritis broke off and was lodged in the shoulder area. The surgery was performed in late 2003. It was hard with the kids but my mother assisted me during that time. Rehab was harder than what I thought it would be after...

Speedy recovery Diana. Rehab will be important. When I had my surgery rehab was too long but well worth it.

    Pictures from Diana's Party

I am doing well enough. Getting by. Have not been able to afford to fly, but that is the same old, lol. I am getting ready to go back to school, though. Kids are getting older and starting to develop that "attitude". They are healthy. Life is great!

    Sport Pilot Instructor rating

Is a Light Sport Aircraft that is a homebuilt available to use as a trainer by the CFI SP? Of course, that could bring a LOT of liability concerns into the equation. It would likely be best to just find a certified aircraft like the Champ to instruct in?

    Sport Pilot Instructor rating

I would be looking at the CFI SP as another paid hobby. Not only would it give me the opportunity to fly more often but I would be able to assist others learning to fly. It seems that the Sport Pilot is a way to fly more inexpensive yet safely. If I do the CFI SP, it would be on the side of my...

    Sport Pilot Instructor rating

What do you think about the Sport Pilot Rating? The Instructor needs 150 hours to qualify. Do you think this would be worth pursuing? Thanks. Dustin Smith
