Driving record and credit score are huge factors in getting an airline job, what better way to judge you?
I raised my kids preaching that they never pay a ticket, always hire a lawyer to fix it.

I disagree, let's say you shut it down for low oil pressure and it's flying just fine on one engine, now you're flying a single engine plane and can continue until you need fuel or you are somewhere to get it repaired. Flying 131 or 135 is different, all the checklists like the 777 I fly end...
You realize that many aircraft outside the C area have no intention of ever installing ADSB out? Don’t count on it to display traffic outside the required area. I won’t be transmitting when not required, would you have a problem with big brother tracking your car? I would.
Everyone needs to know that the auto gas STC is for ethanol free fuel only. I use it in Seattle and it’s about $3.95 a gallon but can’t find it anywhere in Southern California so I’m stuck buying avgas there.
I’m taking my Bo this year and it’s been 40 years since I’ve been there! I’m thinking of camping at Vintage and was wondering if people put signs on the plane or prop to identify it? Make, model, year etc.
Dan
I fly there all the time from Seattle. Forget banning. Come over Palmdale at 9500 and fly just north and east of Big Bear then start down. If you aren’t needing to be right near PSP land at Bermuda Dunes or Thermal. Thermal gas is more than a dollar cheaper than anywhere else.
Dan
Don’t count on ADSb for your safety. Many pilots I know turn it off as soon as they’re outside the mode C area. They are uncomfortable having big brother knowing their every move.
Dan
Nice panel. How much do you have into it? $60,000? How much is the plane worth? I’d love to do that to my Bonanza but the numbers don’t work and I wouldn’t be flying anywhere any differently than I do now.
Dan
SOP in my Bonanza right out of the manual, run off left main 1 hour then run the other 3 tanks dry. This leaves the left main full with 17 gallons usable remaining because of the pressure carb return line.
If I'm paying attention I can see the fuel pressure fluctuation about a minute before it...
