    Cherokee 235's

Sure. My gripe is more with the fuel selector than the tanks per se, it can be finicky and hard to tell if you’ve hit one of the detents in flight.

    Cherokee 235's

We have a ‘65 235 with fixed prop, climbs like crazy. Agree with previous poster that the 4 tanks suck, and agree with keeping a little power in on final. Great plane though and once you’re used to the extra nose weight it’s as easy to fly as anything else.

Anyone fly in to Augusta during Masters week?

Got a couple tickets to a practice round this year and thought if the weather was nice I’d make a flight out of the day as well. I don’t know what they will be limiting attendance to this year, but in a normal year, has anyone flown into there? Is it too busy with jet traffic to even bother? It...

Possibly moving to Charlotte North Carolina- advice on GA

Sounds like EQY might be the closest, no idea what the hangar situation is like there but I doubt it’s very good.

    Wearing Shoes in the Airplane

Never flown barefoot, never really even thought about it. I just go with whatever I have on.

2/22/2020 Southeast Peeps, come say goodbye (or hello) to The Grove

Landing north isn’t too bad. Never done it the other way. Taking off north in a 150, with an overweight CFI, in the middle of summer is not something I ever wanted to do after the first attempt. Those trees at the end of 35 came up a lot quicker than expected lol.

    Headsets, tablets, and quiet kids

They should be able to hear the tablets fine, but if you have time, look on Craigslist/eBay for a couple of used sets of Bose QC25’s. Cheap enough and will keep them much more comfortable

    Bought another trailer/renovation

I bought a 16’ car hauler that had mobile home axles on it several years ago. Ended up replacing the axles with some dexters with regular hubs and trailer tires. From what I remember it’s the tires that are made for mobile homes that are the most worrisome part, not necessarily the axles.

    My ADS-B report from FAA?

Failed my first one as well and I was onside the mode c, under bravo. After I got the report I looked around and found something that said doing 360 degree turns and other “maneuvers was no longer recommended. Went back up to the same area and just flew around for 30 minutes, shallow turns...
