    Oddly enough I have already did that. Those wires were not pre existing. I added them. I removed a ki-525 to install the g5. Maybe I have the 530 programmed wrong. What should the settings be for the ARINC 429 menu in the 530. I also only ran one set of wires to the ARINC port in the 530.

    I would see about having the switch disabled. It would be best to have it on all the time. Unless of course you are running drugs. Then you want to find a way to shut it off when you want such as a cockpit toggle. But for safety having it on all the time is best.
