    Metal hangar decisions

    Getting quotes to buy a steel building for a hangar. Some are saying 6" purlins, other say need 10" if going to insulate with R33 rolled fiberglass insulation. This is for building climate zone 5. OK to go with 6" roof purlins and stuff in extra insulation? or need to design for 10" thanks all
