Thanks so much starglider. I have sent you a DM. One thing that has really got me surprised that I tried to hide even the home airport and still people figured it out.

What do you think about Galvin flying?

The meeting was very nice. He suggested I get my log book back and then go through the TSA check thingie again. He will pair me up with an instructor and I can try to start from where I left off. Would you be able to suggest any other school/independent instructor please?

But my former instructor only sometimes "unlit himself". But again, maybe I am too meek.

What do you think about Galvin flying?

After my recent adventures with a CFI, I am out to look for another. I found a school called Galvin flying in KBFI. Does anyone have an experience with this particular school? I am going to meet the chief instructor today. Any recommendations for who to take as a CFI? Thanks

Well, what can I say. Speaking from memory, but again just one instance of "yelling": During a touch and go, once I have pushed in the throttle to "full open" during take off, I took my hand off the throttle lever, and he told me, "in a stern voice", if I see you take off your hand once more, I...

I think that would be a good idea. But most likely he will ask you to show up in person. But absolutely go for it if you feel like.

Thank you azure and everyone else that have taken the time out to post on this thread. Your comments mean a lot to me. Have you heard the story of Fox and the grapes? I do not think I am qualified enough to comment on someone's teaching techniques unless I have aced that. That is why I do not...

Well, I was able to slow down the plane to stall (flaps up, wings level) + 5 mph and fly around for 20 mins without losing more than 250 ft altitude. Although my pitch was not ideal and I had to make lots of corrections. I have done 45* turns, but not 60* within altitude loss of less than 200...

Thank you Tim. I will try to find someone that is more on the analytical side. Do you or anyone else looking at this thread have any recommendations for someone in Seattle area?

This post originally had a image of the quote. I am removing this to protect the anonymity of the CFI. But to answer the original question, the plane rental for 85$/hr was in addition to the cost for instruction.

Aviators/Friends of aviation, First things first, thanks so much for your nice words. Last night when I wrote the first post, I was feeling like a failure and felt like I would do a favor to the world never trying to get in the left seat. But seeing so many people suggest that maybe, I was not...

Hello folks, 15 hours on the log book and I got kicked out today by my CFI. His reason, all his students solo in 10 hours and I was unable to get a good control of pitch or was unable to co-ordinate my turns in 15 hours. The gist of his parting comment was, I was not worth his time. Not trying...
