From CXP climb up over spooner summit, follow along the east side of the lake direct TVL. From TVL intercept the hwy 50 corridor direct PVF. From there you're home free.

My aspen gets its nav data from my 530....not sure if all of them are that way but I know with mine I have to select GPS1 and then it spits the data from the 530.

Try three shots of primer, slowly listen and feel while doing this. Then pump the throttle twice, after that leave it about a 1/4 in and start. Been using that technique in my P for years when cold and it catches on the first or second blade.

Does anyone have an idea on the lead time it takes stec to ship your autopilot? Basically from the time of order to the time of shipment, or the total time for them to assemble your autopilot based on the specs you've given them on your aircraft.

Hey you're ooooon guardddddd. I always monitor, heard a mayday once and a few ELTs over the years. Usually center looking for a missed radio frequency.. I wouldn't be surprised if someone had declared an emergency and the guard police told them "you're onnnnn guardddd"

The first two ideas sound good, but reality is it will be hard to find anybody to take you up on that. Lots of red tape there, I don't think 135 charter will allow that with such low time, even in your own plane. Rules still have to be followed to fly goods for hire. Option 3, you'll still need...

I was under the impression that the iPad will connect via Bluetooth for traffic and weather, hopefully that is the case as another poster stated. If I wanted to stream my flightplan from ForeFlight to the 530 via flightstream that's another story, but that's not my goal at this point.
