Just make sure it's cellular and you won't need an external GPS. I like the full version of foreflight but who wouldn't, so I'd say that anything foreflight will improve your flying experience! Happy flying!

Personally, I always used to be low and slow, and about halfway through my PPL I started coming in shallow and fast to have that extra speed cushion. Idk what my reasoning was, it takes time to learn I guess! Now I'm pretty much power off the last 100-200 feet and rather steep!

My instructor said this same exact thing, however he meant it in a way that if you don't see the traffic, don't feel pressured to say you do! That just creates a dangerous situation where ATC loosens up and your situational awareness is lowered. If you see it, say it! And vice versa. :)

just a quickie!! Formation flight, is it as simple as requesting formation flight from ATC or is there paperwork that needs to be done? Endorsements to be had?
