    Rivet Questions

Poop rivets actually require an extraction kit and magnetic tray. Deburring prep is also quite the challenge, although some people really seem to enjoy it.

Class D Tower Controller - Few Questions

I know you like to argue for the sake of argument, and that it amuses you. However, at least try to frame your points without ignoring basic English language construct and the use of logical fallacies. (Disregard; that probably wouldn't be any fun at all.)

Class D Tower Controller - Few Questions

SMH...Which is why I said "when it is applicable." If it is not, it would not make sense to use it and clear plain language is needed.

Class D Tower Controller - Few Questions

Standard phraseology is designed to be standard for many good reasons. If you want to be more professional and speak the language of aviation, use it when it is applicable to the situation. One for the experts...

You said it doesn't apply to a pilot certificate. I was pointing out how it actually can apply.
  14. W

    One for the experts...

Well, an instrument rated pilot who wants to add AMEL to their certificate would be required to demonstrate AMEL specific Instrument tasks. Is that what you mean?
  15. W

    One for the experts...

Yes. The endorsement is for Instrument Airplane, not class-specific.

IFR en route, VFR departure and landing

I think a healthy dose of IMC avoidance training and some hood training is all that is necessary. Instill a great respect for the dangers and wise pilots will stay away from IMC before they are more skilled. There are enough barriers to GA flying as it is.
