If you live in the City, I'd avoid KFRG, and KISP is a bit of a ride depending on where you live. Go to New Jersey. Take a look at the flight schools at Caldwell & Lincoln Park Airports.

Very sad. I learned short field takeoff and landings there back before the runway was extended. Originally it was around 2,500 feet. High-Tension Power Lines very close to approach end of Rwy 25.

Did they tell you to"line up and wait"for your lunch? Ever been to Portland, ME(KPWM)? If you're into seafood, they get it right off the boat.

Actually, its more like a $300 Hamburger flying a Cirrus SR-22. I'd have to say the best was at Sky Manor Airport(N40) in NJ. A close second was the Sunday Brunch at Flying W Airport(N14) in NJ.
